John Pacholl was born on March 02, 1889 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the oldest child of Andrew and Catherina. John was called to serve in the military in WWI.
After the war, John married Julia (Jule) Thomas and moved back to Wilmont where he worked on the Pacholl farm and eventually owned gas stations.

Private, Company F, 362nd Infantry, 91st Division; he entered the service on September 19, 1917. He trained at Camp Lewis and departed overseas July 6, 1918. He fought in the following battles:
St. Mihiel
Argonne
Flanders
Jule Pacholl sometime around 1954
Thomas Pacholl died at an early age of 6. I don't know the cause of death. He is buried at the St. Kilian cemetery.
