Fall Camp
|
We had a Halloween camp out with other girl scout troops in October '01. We "trick or treated" from tent site to tent site. |

Investiture Rededication
|
Two new members were invested - we all had an opportunity to share our talents. |

TOS
|
We had fun selling nuts at our booth. |

Thanksgiving Get Together
|
We played miniature golf at Malibu Castle in Redondo Beach in November '02. Joining us were junior girls from Troop 144. |

Angel Project
|
We participated in the "Angel Project" - to make an angel in honor of the victims of our nation's tragedy. Here is a picture of the angels we made.

Caroling and Holiday Party

In December '01, after caroling up and down Main Street, we returned to our meeting place for potluck - lots of good food. |

Young Americans
NATIONAL MUSIC OUTREACH TOUR

Madrona Marsh
|
In January we went bird watching at the Madrona Marsh Preserve in Torrance. |

Cookie Kickoff
|
We celebrated Girl Scout Birthday at Cookie Kickoff at the LA Sports Arena in January '02. |

Tasting Bee |
Our troop sold Irish Soda Cookies at the Tasting Bee in February '02 at the Teen Center. |

Cookie Sales
|
ICookie sales were the best - we had a lot of fun selling. |

Father Daughter Dance
|
Troop members had the opportunity to dance with their dads.

Skills Day
|
We participated at Skills Day in Hawthorne to prepare for Sharpeze - camping skills and general girl scout knowledge are tested.

Troop Skills Day
|
In April '02, we practiced putting up tents and other skills to prepare for our camping trip. Afterwards we had a pizza party at Shakeys. |

Lazy J Ranch Camp
|
In May '02, we spent a weekend at Lazy J Ranch Camp in
Malibu. We were able to earn the Horse Fan Badge.

Sharpeze
|
We camped at El Dorado Park in Long Beach with other South Bay Girl Scout Troops in May '02. |
|
Fashion show
|
Our Fashion Show in May '02 included a variety of outfits - formal, swim, athletic, and fun wear. We plan to have a fashion show next year with other neighborhood troops. |
|
Sleepover
|
A sleepover - complete with pillow fight, popcorn, movies, makeovers, and music - was held in July '02 at the United Methodist Church.

Soak City USA
|
Twelve troop members enjoyed the summer heat by cooling off at Soak City, USA in August '02. |
|
Osito Rancho
|
Some of us had a chance to visit our Girl Scout Camp at Big Bear August '02. We swam, went horseback riding, canoeing, made nature crafts, climbed ropes, learned archery, performed skits and songs, and enjoyed great food.
