INVESTITURE |
We held an Investiture for two new members. |

HALLOWEEN PARTY |
At the Halloween party, girls made pizza, played games, told scary stories in the dark, and didn't want the party to end. |

SISTER TROOP MEETING |
We met Troop 900 - 2nd year brownies - at the Madsen House and taught them a song "Bungalow" to help us earn one of our bridging steps. |

Our troop participated in nut sales and had a great time at our nut booth. |

THANKSGIVING BREAK |
During our November '00 vacation break, we went to see the movie "Rugrats in Paris". |

BRIDGING CEREMONY |
The Brownies worked very hard to earn their bridging patch and plan their ceremony. They also entertained everyone with a skit entitled "Jumping off a Bridge. Now we are all Juniors. |

CAROLING
|
After our December '00 holiday party, we strolled up Main Street, holding candles, and caroled. Some troop members belong to the school chorus - they got to sing for the City Council that evening. Others got to sing during the town's tree lighting ceremony a few weeks earlier. |

SLEEPOVER WITH TROOP 372 |
Members from Troop 150 had a chance to share songs, games, and activities with 1st year Brownie Troop 372 at Hilltop Church in El Segundo. |

THINKING DAY |
In February '01, we invested a new member and received our membership stars. Each patrol group planned a part of our Thinking Day Ceremony - opening with the promise, performing a skit on the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, and closing with a song. |

TASTING BEE
|
The troop represented Australia at our annual neighborhood tasting bee at the Teen Center in Feburary '01. ANZAC biscuits (oatmeal/coconut cookies) were sold to contribute to the Juliette Low Fund. |

COOKIE SALES
|
Our cookie sales yielded an excellent profit. |

GIRL SCOUT OWN CEREMONY |
We had a joint meeting with Daisy Troop 299. Troop 150 members received their red rose crests and Troop 299 members earned a daisy petal. The girls had cookies and punch afterwards. |

SKILLS DAY - SOUTH BAY NEIGHBORHOODS
|
Troop 150 attended Skills Day in Hawthorne with other South Bay troops. The girls tied knots, lashed, learned first aid, and used compasses. |

SKILLS DAY - EL SEGUNDO TROOPS
|
Troop 150 attended Skills Day in El Segundo - we were taught knife safety, made gorp, learned bandana tricks, how to put up tents, and played sleeping bag relay games. |

SHARP-EZE SOUTH BAY TROOPS
|
In May '01 We were tested on our girl scout knowledge (a lot of it learned from previously attended Skills Days) at Sharp-eze, a group encampment in Long Beach in May Lots of swaps, activities, games and camp fire songs were part of this event. |

SURPRISE EVENT
|
Neighborhood troops met at a local park for a barbeque lunch. Girls had a good time making "concoctions" - silly putty, sand painting, skittle juggle balls, and volcanoes. |

ICE CREAM PARTY
|
Troop members invited their friends to attend our final meeting - an ice cream party at Library Park in El Segundo in June '01. |

CONCERT IN THE PARK
|
In July '01, troop members and their families met at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach to listen to a band playing Beatles tunes. |

SOAK CITY USA
|
Our August '01 Event was a blast at Soak City, Buena Park. We enjoyed water slides, tide pools, and soaking up the sun. Afterwards we met at a local fast food place. |
