Over 20 years ago, he began collecting unsold trees from Christmas tree lots just before Christmas and giving them to families who would not have a tree. For many years, troops from Angeles Council made ornaments at their meetings and donated them to this project. This is a scanned image of the stocking ornaments. |

Year End Party Everyone attended the year end Pizza party! First we met at an art studio in downtown El Segundo to paint a sunflower on a ceramic tile - our keepsake for this past year. Then we went over to the best pizza place in town to eat. This has been a terrific year for all of us. We had two summer get-togethers -- painting butterflies on "Butterfly Lane" ( located at downtown El Segundo) in July and hiking at Wilderness Park in Redondo Beach in August. |
