Welcome to the home of the San Fernando TITANS Volleyball Club!
SF Titans VBC is a developmental volleyball club located in the Northwest end of the San Fernando Valley. Our practices will be based out of James Monroe High School, and other nearby sites. For the 2007-2008 season, we will field one 14u, one 16u, and one 18u teams. In addition to "tournament" players, we will also be accepting a limited number of "practice only" players for a reduced cost.
Most practices as well as all tryouts will be held at Monroe HS on Mondays and Wednesdays. With the recent acquisition of Monroe HS as our practice site, we are able to reduce fees by more than $100 per player.
If you are concerned whether or not Club Volleyball is right for you or your child, please feel free to contact us. Because we are a developmental program, we strongly encourage players of all skill levels to tryout. Even if a player doesn't make a team, we will do everything we can to help place her in a program that is best suited to her needs.

MISSION
Our club's philosophy is "performance over outcome." Our mission is to assist the student athlete to grow as a player and as an individual through teaching volleyball skills, building the knowledge of volleyball, and the promotion of positive characteristics that extend beyond the game of volleyball into everyday life. The importance of learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership, as well as building self-esteem, self-discipline, and personal integrity will be fostered in a constructive environment under the direction of dedicated, caring coaches.
ABOUT US
SF Titans VBC was formed in order to give the inexperienced, developing player an opportunity to learn and grow alongside other similarly driven players. We stress teamwork, learning, fundamentals, and hard work over winning and individualism. Our ultimate goal is to see our players continue on to play for varsity teams or elite clubs.
By no means do we claim to be the perfect volleyball club. Therefor we are more than willing to help every player find a place that best suits their goals and needs. We encourage all of our girls to try out and experience different clubs in order to find the one that best suits them.
Club dues are projected to be in the range of $800 - $900. These fees will include nine (9) to ten (10) SCVA tournament days and two (2) practices a week. Each player's fees include six (6) to nine (9) team building events, full uniforms, registration, practice insurance, coaches, equipment, and lunches at tournaments for players. We plan to organize various fundraiser's throughout the season in order to help players offset the cost of dues. If a player is unable to cover the cost to play, the club will do all it can in order to assist any motivated player to raise the funds needed to play.
SF Titans VBC is a player/parent oriented club with Parental Advisers that play a critical role in most of the decisions affecting the club. Each team will consist of at least one (1) Team Parent/Chaperone and at least one (1) additional Parental Adviser.
