I hold a degree in music education (Voice)
and I'm finishing a certificate to be a teacher
(Early Childhood Education).  I have previously been a Children's Choir Director for 4 years at a Lutheran Church, taught for a year in Kuwait teaching music, and spent 2 years as a teacher's assistant at the Children's Development Center
located at my school working with pre-school and school age children. I teach beginning piano lessons to children and adults.

I'm a fan of Camryn Mannheim. I'm interested in learning more about the Size Acceptance Movement and learning about any materials that could be used to 'educate the educators' about size acceptance for young people. By exposing children to these concepts of acceptance, we may be able to stop the teasing that fat kids are dealing with today.
