| Hella Headlight Upgrade |
Another popular mod is to replace your stock headlights with Hella H4 headlights. These are not
only far better, but also allow you to replace just a $8 bulb, instead of a much more expensive entire headlight assembly if
a light burns out. This also allows you to buy much higher wattage H4 light bulbs, such as 80/135, or Xenon charged bulbs for
almost HID intensity.Note: Here is a Quick Tip for those of you who think your stock headlights used to be much brighter. Have you ever cleaned your headlights? I know when I wash my car I always leave the headlight down, and never clean the glass. Before I got my Hellas I was aligning my lights one night, and noticed how incerdibly dirty the glass atually was. I busted out the windex, and paper towels, and cleaned the glass and found that the light output was almost doubled, simply by cleaning the stupid glass! So if your looking for a quick fix, try cleaning your headlights! |

My next step will be to completely replace my stock fog lights. I'm currently looking at PIAA 980's mostly because I like
the dual Fog/Driving solution in one housing, and its also the same size as the stock fog-lights! The only problem is the
price, the retail for about $400, so I guess It'll have to wait a while.Update: 5-16-99 I got my PIAA's sooner than I thought I would, and for a lot less too... check it out. |

The Ultimate Headlight upgrade. Thats right you've seen 'em on the fancy Lexus, and Mercedes, but now available
for off-road & show use only (yeah right). HID, thats right High Intensity Discharge Headlights! And hey, Why Not?
the kits only start at about $1000.00 or so! That beats PIAA's $2000.00 price tag for there 990 series HID fog lights!
I actually researched this a little bit and came across the web site: hidlights.com
It has a great FAQ, and photo gallery of installs they have performed. The only dis-advantage of going with HID is that
you would lose your high-beams, thats the price you pay for exclusiveness!
