1988 Monte Carlo SS  Chad Arnheiter

2004 WestLake Village, CA Auto Show
1st Place Winner - 80's Street Custom Class

My 1988 Monte Carlo SS is hardly stock. It has a 300hp 350, Edelbrock headers and performer RPM intake. Rebuilt Q-jet to match the 350, and to keep it smog legal. The interior is stock, but has been freshened up. On the exterior it received a Cadillac pearl white paint job with grey ghost flames and many coats of clear for that show quality shine. The rims are 17x8 Torque Thrust II's with 4 inch backspacing and 245/45/17 tires. The car has been lowered 2 inches (spindle drop) up front, with moog replacemnt springs for an Iroc, and 1.5 inch drop in the rear using belltech lowering springs. The shocks are Koni Adjustable and the rear received hotchkis control arms. The exhaust is the stock size of 2.25 with two chamber flowmasters. Stereo system consists of 2 - 8 inch sealed subs in the trunk, pioneer amp with pioneer speakers and head unit. (outdated but sounds great)

The factory options include: t-tops, grey interior with buckets seats, power windows, power locks. It has all the options except power driver seat and rear window defrost. Check out the factory window sticker for my car

Future Plans
Interior plans include GN style - black and grey leather interior, black carpet, trunk customization. Drivetrain plans: supercharged LT4, 700r4 transmission, rear disc brake conversion.
