Caitlin was born on October 15, 1988 and was sired from Karim's Pinny and Karim's Mark. We got Caitlin in our final days of graduate school at UCSB. She was the first dog we had together and our first ever Border Collie. Needless to say, if Caitlin had not been so easy going as a puppy (for a Border Collie), we probably would not have gotten any more. When she was a puppy, we never thought she would calm down, but once she did (after a couple of years), she became a first-class couch potato. That is, unless we were doing one of her favorite activities such as Agility, Frisbee, fetch . . . . She had her Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) and was working toward her Elite Agility Dog Title in North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC) and her Masters Agility Dog title in USDAA. Caitlin passed away on December 3, 2001. We miss her.
