Humanity's Final Exam

Home About Context Vision Understanding Action Projects References

The high-level overview of the site is given on the home page. Here, I offer more specific descriptions and guidance, based on the concerns of various visitors that I expect.

Looking for an overview of the coming crises:
Start with Context to see my listing and take on them. Next, go to Understanding for more depth; after that, you may want to look into Action to see what’s being done currently, and what you might do.
Searching for an answer to “What should I/we do?”:
Browse Understanding and Action, looking for areas or thoughts that resonate with you. Use the References to find sites that focus on your interests, or toward which you feel a calling (a vocation in the original sense). I plan to provide a review of the various sources that offer prescriptive advice to individuals and groups.
Looking for information about a specific area of concern:
Scan the outlines of Understanding, Action, and References. If you don’t find anything fitting what you’re looking for, try the standard Internet information resources like Google, Wikipedia, DMOZ, etc. (If you find something out there that you feel should be mentioned here, let me know.)
Potential collaborator:
Start with Context, then Vision. Look over the Projects to see the kinds of thing I’d like to see accomplished. Spend some time with Understanding and Action, then contact me to explore how we might work together.
Potential sponsor:
Start with Context, then Vision; next, look over the Projects to see what I’d like to get done. Browse Understanding and Action, then contact me to explore the possible activities you”d like to sponsor. (Even if you decide that sponsorship isn’t possible or appropriate, I’d be grateful if you’d send me a message with your comments, ideas, etc. Constructive feedback, even if negative, may be very useful.)
You have (or know of) a resource that I should reference:
(By resource, I mean a site, book, periodical, mailing list, etc.; any relevant source of useful information.) Look over Understanding, Action, and References to see whether I’ve included the resource you have in mind. If not, contact me; I’d be open to suggestions on where I should place the references.
You’re doing something like what I’m doing here
Look over the site to see what the similarities and differences are, then contact me. I’d be happy to have your help, and/or to help you. Ideally, our combined efforts will be mutually valuable.
